Composing for the Ukulele
Have you written a new song today? Stop playing other people's music and build your legacy.
Songwriting prompts are posted here: https://composingforclassicalguitar.blogspot.com/
- Don't be confused that it's for "classical guitar" ... it's for anybody who needs to get to work.
 - I'm using for classical guitar, but you should use it for every instrument you like.
 - New prompts show up each week. Try to write a rough draft.
 - Once a month you should finish something. Twelve "finished" songs a year.

Music theory is in it's own section. Maybe work on them at the same time. The theory page is HERE.
Here's some tools I use often when composing:
- Blank Chord Chart ... keep track of the pesky shapes relevant to you.
 - Circle of Fifths for the Ukulele ... my first ukulele thing I wrote and the second most important.
 - Circle of Fifths for the Baritone ... not as pretty but almost equally useful.
 - Circle of Fifths for Guitar ... It just never stops, does it?
 - Composer's Blank ... write your own arrangements by hand. (It's where I began too.)
 - Key Charts ... ukulele version.
 - Key Charts ... baritone version.
 - Chromatic Scales for Guitar ... where are the damn notes on this stupid thing?
 - Fretboard Memorization Tool for Guitar ... no really, where are the notes?
 - Diatonic Harmonica in C Chart
 - Chromatic Harmonica in C Chart
