Music Theory for the Ukulele
(and really all instruments)
Let's begin with the basics: Music theory is an unnecessarily complicated way to put names onto sounds. Let's simplify: You make a noise. You add other noises to that noise. You do those noises over a predictable time period. Sit around a talk about it. Done. Music theory.
It's the sitting around and talking about it where things become a wreck and depending on who's doing the talking, it can become insufferable real quick.
So less talk, more playing.
If you've ever seen, or owned, or whacked an A440 tuning fork, a perfect A note will come out of it.
