There are several apps you should put onto your phone to make your ukulele life better.
To reduce practice time and make it effective, listen to the MP3 sound file for your song (a few million times) while reading the sheet music.
Using an app, you can also slow the tempo down and play along. Here are the ones I have experience using. They will require you to download the song into your phone or computer and open it with the app.
You should also download a ukulele tuner. I use “gStrings” on Android (because I thought the name was funny). I have heard positive reviews about GuitarTuna on iPhone.
You probably want to have a ukulele chord finder. I use “Ukulele Fretboard” on Android. Let me know which one you like on iPhone.
You’ll also want to have DropBox on your phone. Make a video on your phone, share it with DropBox (it will upload), and then send me the link to the file in DropBox. I will see you making magic.
